One of the most distinctive peaks within St George, Webb hill can be seen from most of the city by looking south for the hill with all the TV towers on it. The hike can be completed up and back in about 30 minutes if you park at the gate, or about an hour if you park at the bottom of the hill. Of course, spending some time at the top of the peak for lunch or a snack is recommended. Characterized by great views of the city and the surrounding area, this is one of those hikes that everybody has seen but not many people have done.

Webb Hill is a hill towards the south end of St. George, just north of Brigham rd. The way up isn’t even a trail, but is a well-groomed dirt road used for truck access to the various communications towers at the top.
You can park at the bottom of the hill on Hillrise Ave., or you can drive about halfway up and park right before the access gate.
The gate can easily be walked around, since it is only intended to block vehicular access. The top of the hill is about half a mile from the gate, with great views to be seen the entire way. Much of the St. George valley can be seen along the way, with Zion and Pine Valley Mountain in the background.
