 (2.0)

Monument to the Flood of 2005 image

This monument stands as a reminder of the flooding of the Santa Clara river in 2005. A combination of warm temperatures, heavier than normal snowpack, and spring rains caused the Santa Clara River to swell to several times its normal size during the spring runoff. Several homes and structures were damaged, including the bridge included in this monument.
